Studs Up

So Spurs beat Inter, leading to some of the greatest mass hysteria we’ve seen in a while and some rather extreme responses from all quarters and all sides of all fences. Suddenly Gareth Bale is literally everywhere. And I do mean literally, I’m pretty sure I saw him delivering milk this morning (people still do that, right?). Meanwhile, the news-mongers are working their way down the Spurs squad list, asking each if they plan on leaving now that they played well in a big game.

What must it be like to be Gareth Bale at this moment? It’s not possible for your stock to be any higher, you can probably gun down dozens of people in the streets of London and the police would high five you as they went to clean it up. And I imagine… it’s just a hunch… that the women may finally look beyond his big ears and to the man inside. A ridiculously talented, high profile, rich man inside.

I’ve had a crazy week, but will have some nice updates soon with thoughts on the new New York Cosmos, some new Umbro gear showing up on my door, more Nike Elite boot reviews and some excellent new releases from Studs Up Football Club. But right now, my brain really hurts.
