Long time Studs Up readers will recognise the fellow from today’s comic. He has recovered nicely from the last time we saw him.

Even though there were some pretty interesting plot points from this international week, Faroe Islands claiming a point against Northern Ireland, Italy vs Serbia called off due to, of all things, homophobic rioting, yet I still pine for league football to resume across the globe. It can’t come soon enough.

After giving FIFA 11 a good slog, my virtual pro is up to an 86 rating or so and thus I ventured into the online world to be met, as usual, by a bunch of ass-munchers who had no idea what I was doing. Of the 4 or 5 online matches I played, 3 of them featured someone playing goalie who decided “rush keeper” was long overdue for a come back. I think I’m either going to have to join a more organised online “club” or maybe make an SU one.
