Studs Up

This comic may require some familiarity with British children’s TV. Sooty is a legendary show involving a bunch of vocally-challenged puppets interacting with a slightly dodgy human friend.

It’s one of those shows that was such a big part of my childhood, but had been pushed down to the dark recesses of my memory until this morning when I thought “What the heck happened to Sooty?”, which shortly then became “Time to kill Sooty.”

Reminiscing about our favourite TV shows growing up can be one of the most satisfying nostalgic experiences, there’s just such a wonderful, now unfamiliar as an adult, feeling that comes with it.

I think I’m going to have to do some digging and see which classic shows have been forgotten. If you have your own favourites, I’d love to hear from you.
