Firstly, the Hoth comic is based on fact. It happened. Ryan Babel tweeted last week that training was canceled yet inexplicably no one bothered to tell him. Babel’s been treated rather harshly at Liverpool, used as transfer bait one minute and told he’s a necessary squad member the next. Two things are clear, though, the man is talented and Liverpool is not the place where he’s going to get to make the most of that talent.

Secondly, anytime I can reference both Star Wars and Family Guy parodying Star Wars in the same comic, it’s got to be a good thing. Like anyone who has a creative outlet, especially one rooted in comedy, the desire the pay homage to those things that shaped my childhood, teen years and young adulthood is strong. Stuff like Sooty and Sweep, Banana Man and any number of 80s film franchises have framed how I see the world and from all the emails I’ve been getting from you guys telling me your childhood faves, the Force is clearly strong with you too.

Hmm I wonder if Rafa was a Star Wars character, which one would he be?
