Studs Up

Just some quick points I wanted to share with you guys:

- I still have a soft spot for CaughtOffside, which I created in 2006 I created and ran until I decided o sell it to a sports network about a year ago. Since then, my man Mark Apostolou has been running it to great effect and has just kicked off their COS Facebook Fan Page. Be sure to check it out (and SU’s!).

- Vintage sportswear maker Ebbets just released a football line based on old, now-defunct American clubs. Not bad, although I’m curious about the fit of the shirt from a site that deals so truly in classic gear.

- I picked up these nice DQM x Rod Laver trainers, part of a big release of collaborations via adidas Consortium. I considered picking up virtually the same pair in blue by Wood Wood as well, but that would probably have been a bit excessive. Loving them so far though.

- If you don’t play Aion, you should (I’m on the Lumiel server if you do pick it up). You should also try playing Aion, FIFA10 and the FM2010 demo all at the same time via 2 laptops and Xbox. I did it the other day and it is probably the closest thing to drug-induced dementia you can get without the drugs. S’nice.
