Studs Up

I’m a huge football boot geek and have been lucky enough to start having some gear sent my way over the past few years for review purposes. The latest is Nike’s premier speed boot the Nike Superfly, which is available for pre-order right now in a less-likely-to-get-you-killed black and yellow colourway. They start shipping August 1 and the folks at SoccerPro are hooking me up with a pair to try out. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Nike Mercurial Vapor IV, it had that huge plastic flap over the laces that was rather unsightly and made it annoying to adjust the laces. Plus, the pair that Nike decided to send me was in the luminous orange colourway that, well, you know.
