Even though the true manager-sim connoisseur knows that Football Manager is the one and only to play, I still have a soft spot in my heart for the name “Champ Man” as it was the original owner of my spare time, and about 99% of my childhood. “Foot Man” just doesn’t sound the same, and borders on disgusting.

Launching Championship Manager Express on iPhone is dangerous. I’ve already been told off for playing Field Runners during social events and I can’t see things improving if I decide to shell out for the CM App. In fact, probably best to leave it alone considering the Nintendo DSi I ordered is still sitting, unopened, on my desk. I’m actually waiting until I have an hour or two spare to open it and enjoy the moment, as I feel any opening of a new toy should be cherished and appreciated as much as possible.
